Eva Longoria isn't just a Desperate Housewife on TV -- she and her husband, Tony Parker, are desperate for a green home to be built just for them. Struggling with their builders to suit their eco-needs the actress had to work hard to get recycled wood for the structure of the home, solar arrays for alternative power sources, and a gray water treatment system as well as ensuring their house water could be recycled to irrigate their lawn. She may be little, gorgeous and a big star, but this green powerhouse feels it is worth it to be the change. Interesting that this sudden concern for "green" comes on the eve of Eva's big screen debut, isn't it? In the end, it really IS all about the green...
