Reality Digs Its Grave

So I am talking to some friends who are in "the biz" and I ask about what fall TV shows are going to be good or scary. I hear "Bionic Woman" has some buzz as does the Heroes spin-off but what I am white as a ghost about is Fox's newest addition to its reality line-up: "The Search for the Next Elvira" I could not make this up, Popsters. Yes, the Mistress of the Dark is 1) still alive, well, dead but alive, whatever 2) apparently she's still highly sought after as reps say Cassandra Peterson, the actress/comedianne behind the fake wig and vampira breasts needs "a surrogate handmaiden with whom to share her personal appearance duties."Now, this woman behind the fangs actually was born in Manhattan, KS of all places and has become an international celebrity thanks to movies, beer commercials, calendars and more (who woulda thunk?). Anywho, Rox is betting that this new reality show won't have much bite but you can blame a mistress for trying!
