So, Rox is going to Ms. Cyndi Lauper's True Colors concert on Saturday night and I wanted to celebrate the "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" Diva; Her latest single "Same Ol' F-ing Story" is #1 on the dance charts. Now, do you think that's odd or fantastic? Well, it's both actually. Ms. Lauper has not had a #1 song in 22 years! Yes, indeed. It hasn't been since "True Colors" hit #1 on the pop charts that Ms. L has had this popular of a song. And how fitting, don't you think? It's a tour de force as they say in France or NASCAR or wherever. She's playing at The Greek Theatre with the B52's on Saturday and there will be a full report of course. We love her, don't we?
