Well, I have to tell you...movies this past year, well, pretty much sucked...otherwise, it seemed to be a great year in music especially the pop/dance category -- here are my faves of 2008:

*Favorite Album: Sara Barielles' "Little Voices"/ Lady Ga Ga "The Fame" / Ne-Yo "Year of the Gentleman" (TIE)
*Favorite Song: No Air (Jordan Sparks w/ my bud Chris Brown)/ Womanizer (Britney/natch!) (TIE)
*Favorite Movie: Dark Knight/ Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons
*Favorite TV Show: Brothers & Sisters/ Samantha Who?
*Favorite Holiday CD: "The Christmas Collection" (Amy Grant)
*Favorite Book: "Twilight" (don't judge)
*Person(s) I Just Know Will Be My New BFF in 2009 and Who I Think is UBER TALENTED: Kristin Wiig from SNL (Her "Target Lady," "Surprise Party" lady, and her Marilyn-Monroe-Poop-All-Over-My-Skirt character are soooo wrong and yet so very HIGH-LARRY-OUS!!
*Favorite Funny Person: Wanda Sykes / Chelsea Handler (TIE)
*Favorite Live Large Venue Concert: Cyndi Lauper/B-52s "True Colors"/Madonna "Sticky & Sweet"
*Favorite Live Intimate Venue Concert: Sara Barielles/ OneRepublic
*Biggest Musical Disappointment: Beyonce's "Sasha Fierce" (HATED IT)
*Favorite TV Moment: Anything with Sara "Wink" Palin and/or Tina Fey...and the final results of the Presidential Election.
*Best Comeback Attempt: B-R-I-T-N-E-Y ----- shoots and SCORES!
*Worst Comeback Attempt: Paula Abdul (although I actually liked "Dance Like There's No Tomorrow")
*Biggest Surprise/Disappointment: Prop 8 and California...unbelievable
*Favorite Performance by Male in Dramatic Lead Role: Sean Penn as "Harvey Milk"
*Favorite Performance by a Female in Dramatic Lead Role: Cate Blanchette "Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons"
*Favorite Unbelievable Performance by an Actress on Screen Less Than Five Minutes: Viola Davis "Doubt"
* Sad Things in 2008: Mumbai, our Economy, Paul Newman, and finally -- neither shoe even came close to hitting him...
*2008's Hottest Couple: Chris Brown/Rihanna and Wentworth Miller ("Prison Break")/Luke McFarlane (Scotty on "Brothers & Sisters") TIE (how do you pick between these four superhottiecelebs??
