Let me tell you this, children...after spending time in September in Mumbai, India and then experience the devastation and the fallout from the terrorist attacks in November while friends and colleagues literally did whatever they could to avoid being in the line of the arse-holes ... it is with such joy that TTGP celebrates the underslumdog sweep of "Slumdog Millionaire"! Slumdog," which tells of a young Indian man looking for love and competing for money on a television game show, also earned awards for director Danny Boyle, screenwriter Simon Beaufoy and composer A.R. Rahman for best musical score. Namaste! And, oh, my, Ms. Kate Winslet...apparently the Foreign Press likes you, they really like you. Kate not only won a Golden Globe for Best Actress for "Revolutionary Road" but she also won another Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress for "The Reader." Not too bad of a night, darling, not too bad of a night! Only the third time in Globe history that an actor has won in two categories the same year! A titanic achievement, um, sorry...And welcome back, Micky Rourke (although lay off going under the knife anymore, darling). And Heath Ledger for his haunting portrayal of the really freakin' creepy Joker in "Dark Knight." Your family and fans are proud..and how about that unstoppable little show "30 Rock"?? Hi-lar-i-ous! Cheers to everyone! You're all Golden (well, at least the winners are, aren't they?!).
