Jessica Simpson's dreams of becoming a country music star appear to be over now that her country music label has dropped her. Although her country CD, 'Do You Know,' debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard country charts, Simpson was unable to sell enough records, so the Sony Nashville label sent Simpson packing, her rep confirmed to Usmagazine.com.

And, frankly, in an early posting Rox actually admitted to liking the CD quite a bit -- this perhaps is a case when just being famous for being famous isn't quite enough to sustain a career...sorry Paris...sorry Nicole...sorry Lindsay...
