Vaughniston Over: Are You Really Sad?!

So Rox just heard that Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn have "officially ended their relationship." But do I care, that's the question?! When Rox heard that Brad and Jenn had split it was like hearing that Princess Di had died or that the Marshal Fields was closing in Chicago ... it hit at Rox's very superficial core. Then after seeing Brangelina in "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" one realized how hot the chemistry was and could almost forgive them for the affair (Rox would sleep with both of them, for goodness sakes). However, when I heard that Vince and Jenn were a couple it somehow felt staged in this PR-obsessed world of celebriazzi, didn't it?! And as far as chemistry goes...in the "Break-Up" they were, after all, breaking up so who needs chemistry? At this latest announcement that Ms. Aniston again is single it makes one wonder if a celebrity can truly have a normal relationship of excruciatingly challenging times at one point and near-honeymoon bliss at others (remember, Rox's definition of "compromise" is simply -- "mutual unhappiness" and you can quote me on that). Nonetheless, is there such a thing as true, lasting romance in Hollywood (a la Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward) or is it really based on who will get me the most press at the time? The good thing, however, is that "Vince and Jennifer are still good friends" ... whatever, if they're still speaking then they truly weren't a real couple like the rest of us!!
