Hanging with Michael Douglas and "Samantha Jones"

So i'm freezing my arse off here in the Big Apple -- yes, New York City, Popsters. But I had to tell you about a VIP party I went to thanks to an invite from People Magazine. It was at your typical, run-of-the-mill $70 million Penthouse on 5th Avenue -- their living room used to be the ballroom of the now-converted high-dollar, historic hotel (yes, just like mine). So I was drinking my diet pop with lime and looking at the amazing view of the New York skyline when in walks Michael Douglas (sans Catherine), Fergie (the princess formerly known asDutches of York), and Sex in the City's Kim Cattrall. Michael looked great with his completely white hair, Fergie's still skinny, and Kim was in a tan and red wool dress which seemed too subdued for the hottie Cattrall. And no NY biggie event would be complete without its share of Broadway babes -- Bebe Neuwirth (now starring in "Chicago") had on shorts with thigh-high boots (bless her heart) and perenial Broadway favorite Bernadette Peters (looking appropriately aged but still fab) was there checking out memorabilia and artwork with yours truly. Oh, and Mr. Jeffrey Katzenberg and Mr. Kevin Spacey were there. Mr. Spacey's eye contact with the Roxster was about 5 minutes longer than it should have been so I ran out onto the balcony. The party was a thank you to those big spenders who support the Actor's Fund. Food was fantastic and everyone was someone (Rox tried to blend in as much as possible without looking too shocked about the crowd or the original Renoirs and Monets that were hanging on the vaulted walls of the "house").
