Wink Martindale goes Digital?

Digital Music Group Inc. has signed a distribution deal with Wink Martindale Enterprises for interviews with artists including Frankie Avalon, Ray Charles, Ella Fitzgerald and Barry Manilow.

The 75 radio interviews originally aired in Los Angeles between 1973 and 1985. They will be available via Apple Inc.'s iTunes Music Store, Real Networks, Napster, Verizon and Sprint.

Now Winston Conrad Martindale was born in 1934 and has hosted several day-time gameshows -- most famous for Tic, Tac Dough!! I do have to admit popsters that with that three-piece suit and those impeccable pearly whites ...the Roxster had a gameshow crush on this casanova of camp! Unfortunately, he'll ONLY be remembered for those over-the-top, campy Orbitz commercials featuring Wink making fun of himself only no one's laughing...bless his heart. Rox just thought this was hysterical that ol Winkie himself was getting in to the digital game -- and who doesn't want to stream Barry Manilow 24/7?? Congrats, Conrad!
