So Rox wants to inform and clarify for all of the Popsters out there: Yes, a Woflgang Puck staffer has tested positive for Hepatitis A virus but the worker was at the Puck-catered "Sports Illustrated" event on February 14 and not at the Governor's Ball after Sunday's Oscarfest. Anyone who was at the event is being urged to get a dose of immune globulin by today which could protect you if you came in contact with the infected person or infected food, etc. So, ring the alarm and listen, Ms. Beyonce Knowles who was at the Sports Illustraighted event because Ms. Thing is on the cover -- Get Yo Shot, Baby. Rox has learned that Hep A is not chronic and once you've had it you can't get it again (a la chicken pox) but apparently it's no fun at all: fatigue, jaundice, fever, abdominal pains, vomiting, diarrhea. If you have these symptoms get checked out or you probably watched the James Taylor/Randy Newman performance on the Oscars. This too shall, well, pass. Nonetheless, to find out more about Hepatitis (which seems to be making an unnecessary comeback), check out
www.cdc.gov/hepatitis. Get your Hep A & B shots so you can rest -- and eat at Wolfgang Puck's -- with peace of mind. Hugs (but not too close if you were there Feb. 14) ...
