Tonight I had dinner with my girlfriend Deborah Cox -- yes, the R&B, Dance Remix and Broadway diva herself! We ate at Punch Grill in Santa Monica before she caught a red-eye back to NYC and back to her family and two adorable children (they're perfect, it's disgusting!). She ate a chicken salad and Rox had 100% pure grade-A beef! Anywho, Deborah "Nobody's Supposed To Be Here" Cox is one busy little dreamgirl right now ... she's shooting an independent film, finishing a Pop/R&B album (being produced by my friends Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis) and getting ready to launch and tour with her brand new jazz/big band album of Dinah Washington standards called "Destination Moon"! Yes, that's right, Ms. Dancin' Queen herself has changed gears to bring us some fantastic jazz and blues -- and let me tell you this, I heard some tracks and they are SMOKIN' BABY!! But don't worry, from the vocals to the arrangements there's no doubt it has Deborah Cox written all over it. The CD will be out worldwide and streets in the States on May 15. Be on the lookout for it as they're really targeting the promotion of it. You won't want to miss this, Popsters! (And, by the way, she looks flawless!)
