Isaiah Washington Needs a Doctor

On October 22, 2006, Rox was the first to get the real scoop on the not-so-alleged "incident" on the set of Grey's Anatomy that involved Dr. Burke, McDreamy and George and the word that rhymes with "maggot." Well, once the real truth, well, came out -- DAYS after you heard it here on TTGP -- and TR Knight was forced to come out of the supply closet and Washington made a dubious attempt at setting the record, well, straight, things seemed to settle back down on the set Rox's fave primetime show. Until the very loose-lipped Washington decided to make the ridiculous statement while in the media center after "Grey's" Golden Globe win for Best Drama -- and he said it so off-the-cuff which makes it even more ridiculous ... if you haven't heard, the entire cast went up on the stage to talk to reporters and before one question was asked, Isaiah leaned into the mic and said, "And no I did not call TR a faggot." The faces on the rest of the cast -- especially TR and Katherine Heigl (who happen to be very good friends in real life) showed such shock and disbelief that you could hear crickets chirping in the background...I even thought I saw a tumble weed blow across the stage. Anywho, now TR has been on "Ellen" to say that the rumors were true that Washington did indeed call him a "rhymes with maggot" and that he's very upset about. Washington -- or his publicist, rather -- has come out with a statement of apology AGAIN and saying he has a real problem with this, that he needs help, and that he wants to meet with gays everywhere to get back the love. Whatever, dude. In Rox's book -- and as our, um, President, once said -- "Fool me once, shame on me, or fool you once, shame on...I mean, fool you twice and my shame is once or whatever the hell it is..." We're not fooled, Dr. McBiggot.

so...nothing is going to happen to Mr. Washington because he's "going to therapy" but what if Mr. Washington was called the "N" word by a white man? Would "therapy" be okay then?
